DEED OF GIFT OF PORTION OF LAND TO THE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITIES FOR ROAD WIDENING

This Deed of Gift is made at [Place] on this [day] day of [month], 2023.

PARTIES:

DONOR: [Name], son of [Father's Name], residing at [Address] (hereinafter called the "Donor")

DONEE: [Municipal Authority Name], through its [Officer Designation], having its office at [Address] (hereinafter called the "Donee")

WHEREAS:

1. The Donor is the absolute owner and in possession of the land bearing [Plot No./Khatian No.] situated at [Address].
2. The Donee has requested the Donor to gift a portion of the said land measuring [area] for the purpose of widening of the public road.
3. The Donor, out of public spirit and for the benefit of the general public, has agreed to gift the said portion of land to the Donee.

NOW THIS DEED OF GIFT WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS:

1. In consideration of the premises, the Donor hereby transfers and gifts to the Donee the portion of land measuring [area] as more particularly described in the Schedule hereunder written.
2. The Donee shall use the gifted land solely for the purpose of road widening and public purpose.
3. The Donor hereby confirms that he has good and marketable title to the said property.
